Horacio García Prieto is a member of Marval, O’Farrell and Mairal since 1976 and has been a partner of the firm since 1985.He is an expert on tax and customs law and has advised on all aspects of taxation in the processes of privatization, company reorganization and securities issues in which the firm has been involved. He also has considerable experience dealing with litigation matters brought before the Dirección General Impositiva, the Dirección General de Aduanas, the Tribunal Fiscal de la Nación and before the courts.He graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1977. He has been a Professor of Public Finance and Tax Law in the Faculty of Law at the above mentioned University since 1982. Furthermore, he has been a Professor of Tax Proceedings in the Tax Law Master at the Universidad Católica Argentina since 2006.He has made presentations at many congresses and conferences and has published a number of articles in his area of specialization.
