Walter César Keiniger is a partner of Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal. He joined the firm in 1999. His practice involves counseling to local and foreign companies in the design, planning and organization of tax efficient financial transactions, including loans, project financing, securitization of assets and derivatives. In the area of mergers and acquisitions he has been involved in many transactions, advising both buyers and sellers in the tax consequences derived from the transfer of assets and shares, and also advised on joint ventures between local and foreign companies. He also has a strong background in litigation in tax-related cases. Prior to join Marval, O’Farrell and Mairal, he worked during five years in Gutman Law Firm, a boutique firm specialized in litigation of tax cases.He obtained his law degree at the University of Buenos Aires, School of Law (1994), with a specialization in Tax Law. He also holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida, USA (2003) and a degree earned at the Graduate Tax Program of the University of Buenos Aires, School of Economics (1997). He has written articles in national and international publications, and has been invited as speaker in different meetings held in Argentina and abroad on matters related to his area of specialization.He is a member of the Argentine Fiscal Association.
