Sebastián Soler joined Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal in 1995 and has been a partner since 1998. His practice area is focused on financial transactions, securities and banking regulations.Within his area of specialization he has advised clients on securities offerings, financial trusts, syndicated loans, derivatives, securitizations, and bank acquisitions.Previously he worked as a lawyer in New York for the law firms Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue between 1990 and 1993, and Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler between 1993 and 1995. He is qualified to practice law in the United States and is a member of the New York Bar.He graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad de Rosario, Santa Fe, in 1988 and obtained a Masters in Law at Harvard University in 1990, where he subsequently worked as a faculty assistant and visiting researcher. Between 1997 and 1999 he taught international business transactions at the Law Course in Argentina of the Southwestern University School of Law between 1997 and 1999.
