Fernando M. Montes De Oca

Fernando Mariano Montes de Oca has been a partner with Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal since February 2000. He is specialized in litigation and dispute resolution in the civil and commercial law areas.

Within his area of specialization he advises banks and financial institutions, regarding financial products, both in their regulatory aspects and in credit recovery. He also advises in conflicts between motor companies and their suppliers and distributors.

Previously he worked for the law firms of Lanfranco & Mariño between 1992 and 2000 and Montes de Oca – Pla Cárdenas between 1990 and 1992.

He graduated from the Universidad Católica Argentina in 1994 as a lawyer. He attended the banking and financial law course at the Asociación de Bancos de la República Argentina in 1993, the course on Expiry of State Debts under law 24,447 at the Universidad Austral in 1994 and the course on Insolvency Proceedings and Bankruptcy at the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1995.

At present he is a member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal.
